The Irish forestry establishment, public and private, is currently engaged in a sustained, lavishly-funded publicity campaign aimed at convincing the Irish public that massive non-native species plantations are good for the environment.

The VOICE campaign against patents on life and genetic engineering.

It is an undisputed fact that Ireland is suffering from a severe waste crisis due to totally unsustainable production and consumption. Throughout the country local communities are campaigning against landfills and incinerators while Regional Waste Management Plans fail to propose radical waste prevention strategies.

Safe Clean Water VOICE is campaigning for effective implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive to ensure an end to the pollution of European rivers and seas and the sustainable management of this vital resource.    We also collaborate with the European network of Non-Governmental Organisations, Seas At Risk.
